Air pollutants sources and effects

Image
Air pollutants sources and effects  Air pollution is mainly caused due to two reasons first humans and second due to air pollutants present in the atmosphere. And if you want to control or stop pollution in air, first you have to know about air pollutants, their sources and its effect. When you get full and complete information about their sources. Then you will recognise the real cause and will be able to control it. Through this article we conveyed air pollutants full information from where they are generated and how they will affect you and your family. Let's start Air pollutants sources and effects CO ( carbon monoxide) It is colorless, odorless, tasteless gas, chemically inert under normal condition of temperature and pressure. It has no effect at normal concentration (0.1 ppm) but at higher concentration it is seriously affects  the human metabolism. Sources a) CO reduce the oxygen carrying capacity of blood by reacting with hemoglobin and cause giddiness, laziness and exhaus

The Complete Guide To Sources Of Water Pollution

Sources Of Water Pollution

From where did this water pollution came? what are the major sources of water pollution?

About 8 million tonnes of plastic bottles are present in the sea, ocean and rivers.

Water pollution is caused by water pollutants
. Guess what year we will discuss water pollutants and it's classification and what are the their main sources.

Believe me when you will know the real sources of water pollution you will be shocked.

Before that if you want to discuss on water pollution, so you can also check out our article.

Classification of sources

Point sources

Those sources which can be identified as a single location are called Point sources.

Example of point sources are , industrial effluents ,power plant and sewage discharge etc.

It is possible to minimise the water pollution from the point sources if the waste of water is collected and is given some treatment before it is discharged into a water body.

Non point sources

The discharge from this sources is not at any particular site, rather these sources are scattered ,which individually or collectively pollute water.

Example of non point sources are surface runoff from agriculture field, overflowing small drain's rainwater sweeping roads and field etc.

Major sources of surface water pollution are:

Sewers and drains are the parts through which water pollutants like garbage, human waste, animal waste and other hazardous things.

Industries are continuous supplier of dangerous and harmful materials into water bodies.

Wastes produced during work are disposed into rivers, seas and oceans without any proper treatment.

Domestic use of water bodies are one of the major source of pollution in the water.

For example

  • Animal wash
  • Cleaning of cloth also introduce synthetic detergent into the water.
  • Garbage dumping
  • Bathing during activities like God work shipping picnic and casual etc.

Harmful chemicals like nitrate and phosphate introduced into the water bodies due to agro activities.

Every year tons of oil is filled into the ocean accidentally.
During transportation from one place to another place.

Dumping of high-temperature waste to river increase the temperature of water with affect aquatic ecosystem.

Nuclear waste dumped into the water bodies by nuclear reactor is extremely dangerous for human health.

Acid rains is other sources through which humans directly pollute water bodies.

Crop dusting majorly used in developed countries which affect water due to agriculture.

The list of pollutant and their sources
